I'm a musician trained in Western classical singing, with a variety of artistic and research interests.

My archival project SEACAM is a growing repository of scores and performance materials of contemporary Southeast Asian music. The project is an extension of my research interests in the relationship(s) between contemporary music and Southeast Asian politics, culture, and identity.

My background is rooted in Western art music, so I am comfortable teaching it, singing it, and writing about it. I have a soft spot for Baroque and early music, and my voice type may be described as a light lyric soprano.

I started learning Odissi in 2018, having previously done Ballet for over ten years, and now perform occasionally as a dancer.

Training in two fields draws me to projects with a multidisciplinary and/or interdisciplinary dimension. I find meaning in process-driven and devised work, and am comfortable improvising with both my voice and body.
